A very funny book. It’s like a Terry Prachett novel set in Victorian England. Don’t enpect any continuity with historical facts (although many of his footnotes are of historical truth). Very surreal and great word play. Classic example of British comedy writing.

I have not read more than the first page of this book and the back cover, but this just might be the best book EVER.
