I want to develop a taste for avocado. Currently, I neither love nor dislike them, so I shall persevere – my ss has a theory that it takes 8 attempts with a food to like it (if you don’t at first, obviously!), and I can only vouch for 2 occasions so far.
Why? It’s uber-healthy. Even the fat content is monounsaturated. It’s the highest fibre fruit going, full of B, E and K vitamins, and has more potassium than a banana, apparently.
So far I’ve tried a bacon and avocado wrap thing, and a salad. The experiment continues!

I prefer the Haas avocados. I recently tried some other kind and they were not as tasty. I like to chop them up and spread them on toast for breakfast.

i would like to be buried alive in avocados, so i can eat my way out and then go on oprah.
Avolcados are really versitile. They can be made into guacamole (a dip), used as a garnish, and an actual ingredient in a dish or just eaten by themselves.
