A Guy, A Gal, A Raccoon: it must be love. — 6 years ago
WORTH CONSUMING!
A quirky, neo-cartoony musical about a human Prince falling in love with a raccoon Princess, while being pursued by the Prince’s murderously narcissistic father. Think Shakespeare meets Banana Splits and you’re on your way. Once you get over the director’s saturated, kitschy style, his almost wilful disregard of plot, and the fact that the characters burst into song every two minutes, this film’s a blast!
Oh, and there’s a Golden Frog of Paradise in it too, who makes the cutest sound…
