I realize it’s set in the Valley and there was bound to be plenty of “Gag me with a spoon”,“Grody!”,“Tubular!” etc etc. But it seems all this had going for it was a ton of Val slang and a paper-thin plot. I’m a Cage fan but I only made it 1/2 hour in before I had to turn it off. The “good girl wants guy from the wrong side of the tracks” bit has been done many many times before and it was more entertaining in things like West Side Story and Grease. Pass on this one…
