For those of you who read “Temptation” are well aware of Jasmine’s ways; well, this book is a continuation about her; In this story, Jasmine’s father has died and left a real nice nest egg for both Jasmine and her sister Serena; Serena puts her away, but Jasmine invests in clothes, a nice apartment in a nice building in NYC to go with her real nice job working for her godbrother Malik promoting his clubs; Sad to say, the “gotta have it” mentality has not left Jasmine, and she goes after the minister of Malik’s church, the Rev Bush, but he lets her know that he isn’t interested even after pulling some stunts to get to him; but it doesn’t work out; She ends up in California on business, and runs into Brian Lewis, the husband of her arch enemy, and best friend of the man she had an affair with; seems like he wants a piece of Jasmine too, and although she has sworn off married men, she gets caught up; she then meets the man of her dreams in Rev Bush’s son, Hosea, who falls head over heels with her and marry her; but not before she ends up pregnant with Brian’s child; things get real hairy when she tries to juggle the lies and deception this has brought her; Does she or doesn’t she? I feel love is something that dont’ run down the pike each day; Jasmine was blessed to find a man who loved her so much that he took her at face value but does she value it? check the book out.
