In the movie, the songs aren’t quite as good as in some other 90’s Disney movies, the exception being the very great “I’ll Make a Man Out Of You”. I felt they don’t help the story as much as in, say, The Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast. However, as a CD, this soundtrack is enjoyable. The musical pieces are good, and the “pop” songs are not as bad as some on the other soundtracks. A good buy if you like either Disney, Mulan, soundtracks or all of the above.
