ok, I haven’t really READ this. I got the book because I’d seen the movie and, remember the goat lady, up on the mountain, who kills the goat and feeds Inman? Well, I know I will be her (in my own way) in 20 years. 20+ years ago I did the same thing, sort of, with who I am now. So I wanted to know more about her. The book didn’t have a whole lot more. Except she didn’t have a mirror.

I have one mirror that is about three inches in diameter.

I absolutely loved Cold Mountain, but I really want to know what happened with the movie! They aren’t much alike. In fact, I liked the movie until I read the book and after finishing it, I’m somewhat disappointed with the movie. Cold Mountain is a great read and kept me happily entertained.
