NOT WORTH CONSUMING
I didn’t really enjoy this story as much as I usually enjoy fantasy, and it perhaps had something to do with the writing style, which was almost too mellow and introspective. There just didn’t seem to be enough actual activity going on. I am surprised that this book is considered children’s and not teen at my local library, given both the writing style and somewhat adult themes. That isn’t to say there is anything indecent or offensive, only concepts that younger children would be less likely to be interested in or follow.
