Martin Scorsese is one of my favorite directors and Goodfellows is in my top 5 movies of all time, unfortunately the movie about Las Vegas (one of my favorite cities) seems a poor copy of the much better Goodfellows. The fact that I waited so long to see this movie means I knew this movie would be a dissapoinment, and now I can confirm it. I don’t even blame Scorsese because I’m sure all the backing for the film was for a “Goodfellows in Las Vegas” and he gave us that exactly. I just wish that Scorsese had been more creative in molding the story so that it wasn’t just that.
