This is the album that changed my taste in music forever. This is the album that I will never forget listening to for the first time, in my friend’s mom’s basement, just stunned at what was coming out of the speakers. This is the album that makes me smile about very angry lyrics. This is the album I would recommend for someone who had never heard of NoMeansNo before. This is the album I play very, VERY loud when my wife is not home. This is the album that best shows what can happen when you smash together punk, funk, rock, blues, and a little jazz. This is the best NoMeansNo album out there, and not only that, it is one of the best albums I have ever heard.

This album changed my life when I entered college and first got involved in college radio. This was clearly the lily pad I needed in order to jump off the now forgotten “funkmetal” genre that dominated the latter half of the 80s. This was the doorway to future fun and weirdness in my rock-related purchases.
