i have finished the first 3 books, but i’m going to have to give this a break for now and come back to it. i have too many half-read books to start another one of these. i will come back to it as soon as i can, though!

I can’t believe I’ve gone through some twenty odd years of life without reading this. Well, my error has been corrected. It’s a highly amusing and very clever book, one that I’ll definitely reread at some point in the future.

originally written by douglas adams as a series of five books, the ‘ultimate’ has been added to this version because all the five have been rolled into one, with an extra chapter thrown in for free.

i’d seen this book on the ‘favourites’ list of so many people that i had to read it to know what the fuss was all about.

this book is definitely one of the funniest books i’ve ever read. all about the adventures of one mr.arthur dent around the universe. over 815 pages, douglas adams takes you across countless galaxies and introduces you to some of the funniest characters a weird imagination can conjure. this book is a rib-tickler all the way.

I finished the first book a while ago. It’s a great read, but it seemed more like a short story than a novel (partly because of the length).

I read the complete series years ago, but with the upcoming film, I wanted to re-read it.

Read at your own risk. Jaw cramps or other medical complication raising from unbridled laughter are part of the bargain. You have been warned.

I’m very late to start reading this book. Very good reading so far.
