An oddly touching little comedy about a band who were almost big in the 70s getting back together. Maybe it’s a sign of my own aging that it’s good to see actors a bit older than 17 getting together, and also a story about how being that bit older doesn’t mean life is over.

Great cast, really, if all a bit underused en masse. Music is good, if nothing you’re going to be singing afterwards.

The tragic, genius guitarist, the egotistical and fragile front man, the resentment from the rest of the band, and years of animosity. Heard this before? Yeah, so many times. The only thing that could have made this film was great music. Still Crazy has all the former but little of the latter.
