i said this won’t scare me no it won’t i argued and then it did opps!!!it freaked me out

I am a naturally paranoid person and this tends to be one of my most frequent paranoid thoughts is of some random guy attempting to get into my house.

This might have been why I didn’t totally hate this movie.

The suspense was decent, I wanted to see the face of the killer throughout the whole movie and the nifty setting was enough to keep me entertained. However, this certainly is not the best horror movie I’ve ever seen.

It was littered with tons of mistakes that made it impossible to take seriously most of the time. The ending was terrible, reminiscent of Carrie almost…but the manner in which Carrie’s ending was done didn’t make me want to hit the directors. One of the most humorous errors they made had to be the phonecalls themselves. I thought they were setting up a pretty spooky situation until the guy actually called her. The heavy breathing was far too cliche and the line “I want your blood” literally inspired me to laugh out loud. At least the manipulation of lights and the setting made the cinematography interesting to look at.

It manipulated my paranoia enough to make it suspenseful and thrilling, good way to pass a period of boredom but I don’t think much else of it.
