Nice book – but misplaced :(
44 out of 51 people (86%) think this is worth consuming…
The historical facts in the book kept it interesting, but the characters found themselves repeatedly in situations that they faced certain death, only to dodge it at the last moment.

So I went to the cinema and I saw a trailer for the movie “Timeline” and I thought, “Man, that looks like crap.” And then I went to the library and I saw the book the movie was based on, and since I wanted a long, but easy to read, novel, I decided to give it a try. So far it’s been a fun read (although it would be a big stretch to call it a “good” book). I might even go see the movie, to see how it translates to the screen.
Hopefully, I’ll get a chance to finish re-reading this by the time the movie is released.
I read this cover to cover barely stopping for food and water. A glorious book that made me want to study the Middle Ages when I finished it! Fun fun read.

I just love this book, as I do most of Chrichton’s works. The imaginary visions it invokes within my mind are compelling and quite provoking. Just contemplating the possibilities makes my mind spin, but in a good way.
