NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I am a Science Fiction(SCi-Fi) addict, but The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy was a pathetic failure. A little to silly & ome of the worse actors that I laid my eyes on & don’t get me wrong I usually like (Mos Def) in movies even though he always sound a little punch drunk when he talks(he he), but he is usually good, but this movie It was junk plain & simple & don’t get me wrong I like some of the effects like the little robot, now he was cool & the gold half body robot thingy was cool & the ship looked pretty good in the inside, but the acting was horrible & i have saw some crap in my day of movie watching, but this movie was extreme CRAPAGE, but I just had to make up a word for such a sad case for a movie.

WORTH CONSUMING!
I read this story back in the 90s along with the others in the story about a million times. This is one of the only books my father has ever read in his entire life so I had to read it! The writing style is so fluid and funny! I have lost so many copies of this book to people who borrow and never return! The movie was good, but you can’t get the feel of just how well this book was written by watching the movie. YOUMUSTREADTHISBOOK. And The Restaurant at the End of the Universe. And So Long and Thanks for All the Fish!

“I only know as much about myself as my mind can work out under its current conditions. And its current conditions are not good.”

Brilliant – creative, brainy humor, full of observations about human nature. Light, entertaining and satisfying.

It’s brilliantly written, very funny and full of the most fantastic ideas. Keep reading it over and over, and it never wears out.

WORTH CONSUMING!

a friend of mine read this years ago, and had mentioned it to me, but I read too much, and this suggestion got lost in the midst. After seeing the movie, I knew I had to read the books, so I picked up the ultimate guide. I finished all of the books so quickly, I kind of surprised myself. Fantastic, crazy nonsense story, that seems to always be looping back on itself.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Maybe a bit heavy style of story, but I think it sorespondes with the fact that Arthur feels the same as reader in some parts. Great humour, great story, great book. I’m wondering what’s going to happen than, so The Restaurant at the End of the Universe welcome.

even though I don’t usually like sci-fi. It was really imaginative, though I guess most books in that genre have to be. I loved the humor, especially the Babel fish proof (I’d just learned about using “QED” at the end of a proof) and the general acerbic witty remarks. Definitely worth reading. I have to go read the rest of the series now.

It’s really funny? Sci-fi isn’t usually my thing, though. All right, I’ll take your word for it. Heard a lot about this book and how everyone should read it. Guess I’ll go put my name on the hold list in the library, or something.

This thing is funnier than the reviews of my journal paper.

Hadn’t read it in a lot of years, and I wanted to laugh, so I picked up my old, dog-eared copy. It holds up quite well, really: still hilarious, even if mostly harmless.

A riduclously hilarious book.

This book is freakin’ hilarious! If you like what you read, Douglas Adams has much more out there to entertain you.

The book that started a sublimely hilarious sci-fi series. The permanent warping of my brain dates back to Adams’ “proof” that any human beings you meet are figments of your imagination.
