I’ve seen Gretchen Rubin’s blog, and the book begins by describing how she created it in conjunction with beginning work on this book. It reminds me a bit of “Dinner with Julia” (I’ve never read the book, but I’ve seen the movie.) Instead of reading Julia Child’s cookbook and trying her recipes for food and blogging about it, she reads various authors and tries their recipes for happiness and blogs about it.
