A story about this — 1 year ago
If you haven’t read this, you really ought to. It’s a bit outdated now, but it’s the best introduction to conservation and endangered species you’re likely to find. Sci Fi humourist Douglas Adams takes off with Zoologist Mark Carwadine to track down and photograph and write about some of the world’s most endangered animals. Travelling with a BBC radio reporter, they do their best to get some publicity for these animals on the brink – and to make people think about their actions. It’s funny, thoughtful, and enlightening. A pleasure to read.
