A story about this — 5 years ago
I just feel that Robinette Broadhead was far too melodramatic. His sessions with the AI made a little bit of sense in retrospect, but his actions while on Gateway seemed far too emotionally outlandish and irresponsible. I could not relate to him, and did not even consider him to be an anti-hero. I think the last few chapters salvage the book, but not enough for me to recommend it.
