A story about this — 1 year ago
Fine acting all around in this new twist on the old prison break genre. Excellent Pittsburgh locations make it seem exceedingly real, too. John Brennan (Crowe) has three days to get his wife (Banks) out of county lock-up for a murder she didn’t commit…or did she? Everytime something goes wrong with Brennan’s plan, it seems to be the end of it all, but like a Steeler’s running back, this plot just keeps breaking tackles, zigging and zagging its way to the goal line…freedom, and not just for the couple but their young son, too. Nicely executed, if you’ll pardon the gallows humor.
