WORTH CONSUMING!

Brilliant, just brilliant stuff! No other words to express how much I enjoyed the film, which had so many interesting things going for it, without necessarily being preachy. Highly recommend!

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is a movie about family. The fact that it is about a lesbian couple who give birth to a son and a daughter sired by the same sperm donor makes it unique, but that’s about as far as the differences go. All of the problems they face as a family are familiar to heterosexual parents, from the challenges of raising teens, to job and money issues and sexual relations, growing old, seeking identity within a relationship, and seeing a child off to college. Excellent performances by Benning and Moore, and Ruffalo is surprisingly fresh in his portrayal of the biological father. Nature or nurture, it’s all in play here. Well worth the accolades and Oscar nominations it received.

WORTH CONSUMING!

The acting was good in this movie, but I think the story tried to take a little too much on.
