Disney’s animation has always been cutting edge, but it is getting so lifelike that actors may someday find their voices are all that’s left of them on film. Fortunately, movies like the Shrek series provide plenty of dubbing work. From the usual Shrekkies (Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas) to some surprising additions (Ryan Seacrest, Kathy Griffin, Regis Philbin, Larry King, Jane Lynch), plus a solid gold soundtrack, Ever After is an audio delight as well as a visual treat.

This fourth and final installment could have been titled “Shrek’s Midlife Crisis.” It may seem painfully familiar in some parts to parents who have attempted to live “happily ever after,” but it’s all done in good fun. A thoroughly enjoyable epilogue to the main trilogy.

I have to echo the other reviews: Better than #3, but still not as good as the first two. Seemed to have less ‘content’ than the those (was it shorter? or maybe it’s just because I’ve seen 3 other installments already?)

Okay, cheesy and predictable, but it was fun enough. Better than the last one, anyway!!

Decent story, but fairly predictable and missing the biting humor of the earlier entires.
