I enjoyed this for the acting. I kind of saw what was coming, so the “twist” didn’t quite work. Also the ending was odd, weak. But Clooney and Farmiga create great romantic tension, and as someone who has flown more than a million miles, I could really relate to their situation. Worth a watch.

Up In The Air is just a brilliant movie on all levels, giving insight about people and relationships through a story about someone who fires people for a living. Social Commentary through film is at it’s pinnacle here. Jason Reitman creates a masterpiece which mirrors the society we lives in, but asking questions about who we are as a society throughout this story. I will watch any movie he makes.
