Good to watch on a slow day, but not very memorable. ANY kind of surprise or ambiguity would’ve been nice, but eh. It’s Disney.

I want to be enthousiastic about this movie. Cause I kinda like that Disney went back to it’s roots. These days it’s all 3d and computer animation and that’s all fine, but there still nothing wrong with some old fashioned drawing.

But… honestly, it’s a watchable movie, but not one of disney’s great masterpieces. The firefly sequence was pretty, but all in all… it was lacking some of that disney magic. I hardly cracked a smile during that movie, I missed the dark yet witty bad guy and any surprise at all in the plot would have been pleasant. The songs were nice, but didn’t really stick.

Worth seeing? Yes, cause it’s perfect for a slouch on the couch day. Worth seeing twice? Mwaah…

This was great—wonderful music, lots of jazz, zydeco and Louisiana-type music. The animation, especially the firefly sequence, was some of the best I’ve seen since Beauty and the Beast. Definitely one we’re going to own.
