Fetus time travel?

I read the book before seeing the movie, and I think that they did a very good job of editing it down and focusing on the heart of the story. I usually get fairly turned off by mushy/romantic movies, but this one was a lovely balance of good acting, interesting storyline, and gorgeous cinematography.

as the book – which I know is to be expected of any movie based on a novel but still I couldn’t help wishing it had certain storylines and scenes that were left out. Like … what happened to the ex-girlfriend? That was left completely out. And when he got stuck in the cage at the library? Another important scene from the book that was missing from the film. And even the ending was totally changed! I loved the ending in the book.
