I only rented this because I wanted something light to distract a friend that was going through a hard time. We watched it with my parents, and all of us laughed the whole way through. I don’t mind comedies, but they normally aren’t my favourites. This one however, was definitely worth the rental.

The humor builds as we get to know the characters and their quirks. Fun cameo by Mike Tyson. As Vegas movies go, this one is worth seeing, if only for the many uncommon views of backstreets off the Strip. Look for the huge portrait of Donny and Marie Osmond on the Flamingo in the background of several scenes. Perhaps my favorite part was the “photos” at the very end, which filled in some of the blanks that the movie skipped over. Cleverly done, although it is still not clear to me where the chicken came from.

Watched it on the plane – pretty entertaining and loved “Andy” from the Office. . . but definitely not as funny as I thought it’d be.
