Very Tarantino, from the vintage music selections and the chapter headings to the gushing blood and the dark humor. Brad Pitt’s accent is worth a few guffaws all by itself. “Operation Kino” was an interesting premise on which to base a movie, but the story starts very, very slow and if you are not into “foreign-style” films with loads of subtitles, the long narrative might lose you before it gets into the action bits. Something of a let-down, given the huge hype it received, but still worth watching.
