Not as scary as I expected! That is, the water turned a pale murky colour, rather than deep grey, albeit it with little black flecks of charcoal floating about. Those are the only thing that marks this down from worth consuming – inoffensive enough in the bath, but they did stick to me completely. As did the silver glitter, which was kinda nice, but a bit pointless when you also look vaguely sooty!

Smell-wise, the bath was much nicer than the block ‘raw’. I only used half a bar (sharp knife!) as it seemed quite overwhelming, but the scent mellowed to sort of a minerally spa-like effect – the whole bar would have been fine, methinks!

The bath was left littered with particals of both glitter and charcoal (tip: either rinse it out there and then, or don’t drop anything into the bath the next morning unless you want it coated!), but there was surprisingly little of the expected horrific tidemark!

My skin was left with a light moisturising layer and subtle aroma – and of course the glitter and charcoal! If not for the later, this would have made a nice change.
