She-Hulk has always been one of my all-time favorite characters. She’s never really gotten the respect she deserves and many of her series deal with her breaking the fourth wall and acknowledging all that. However, in the new series, She-Hulk no longer includes the reader as a character in the plot. Thankfully, that doesn’t detract from the essence of the Lady of Green.
In this new series, She-Hulk’s partying ways have caused her to lose everything from her room in the Avengers mansion to her prestigious law firm gig. Now, as Jessica Walters, she finds herself a supporting player in a law firm that caters to superhero and villain law. Taking a page from both Damage Control and Batton Lash’s Supernatural Law, this series is funny, unique, and a pleasure to read despite the lack of action scenes one might hope for in a comic book. Worth Consuming!
