This movie wasn’t as funny as I had heard, and I had a hard time liking the characters or believing the romance.

Obviously there’s an issue when you try to think of what you liked about a movie and all you come up with is the wardrobe. I would wear just about everything Sandra Bullock was put in for this film – classic and chic with a little sexy thrown in. I liked that it was age appropriate. However, I read magazines and peruse catalogs for fashion kicks and expect a little bit more from my movie watching experience and The Proposal failed to deliver.

I thought this movie was … cute. Better than most romantic comedies that are out these days. It had a decent story line, and the actors lived up to their parts. Not that it couldn’t have had a bit more to it, but for what it was, I was not disapointed. I spent a lot of time really laughing at this movie, which is unusual when I’m watching a romantic comedey. I wasn’t disapointed that I spent my time watching this, which is a new and good thing.

This movie had a lot of potential that it never really seemed to live up to. And there were some scenes that just seemed awkward and out of place …
