Even if you think that you don’t like The Ramones, you’re wrong. They’re ultra-catchy, twisted pop with everything turned up to 11. At first, you will think, “What the hell is this? What is he saying? Who are these maniacal retards?” Then you will start tapping your feet unconsciously. You’ll catch yourself humming Ramones songs on your way to work. Then you will realize the genius of The Ramones.
This is the first two (and best) Ramones albums (Ramones and Ramones Leave Home) on one disc, plus two live tracks. For $10 (? So cheap!), this is one of the best values for your dollar in music.
I usually see this listed as All the Stuff (And More) Vol. 1. The second volume is listed like that on All Consuming, but this one isn’t for some reason. Whatever it’s called, you need to own it. Of course, you also need to own the second volume, which is their second two albums, Rocket to Russia and Road to Ruin.
