A friend lent me this book. I have just started reading it. It looks interesting. Wallace seems to take contemporary technical languages and assemble them as an art form.

Though his style and structure are almost distractingly detailed, there’s something very likeable about the way DFW writes. This is the first time I’ve read anything of his, so I wasn’t quite expecting a 3 1/2 page paragraph in which there was a 2 1/2 page-long sentence.
(Returned because the item was requested. Will return to this eventually, as the second story seemed more enjoyable than the first.)
