A story about this — 1 year ago
This is the fourth Tony Hill book, and I’ve previously read 1 and 2. Which is a slight problem, ‘cos whatever happened in book 3 is referred to – a lot. The psychological events have a big impact on the plot here, so it’s perhaps unavoidable, but it’s bloomin’ irritating. And I don’t even feel I can go back and read it out of order, as I now know what happens!
That aside, this was an okay but not amazing thriller. It reminded me of too many other things, notable Se7en (the movie), and The Mermaids Singing – the first Tony Hill book.
Still, it filled a gap in my book reading schedule ;)
