This was such a fantastic read - well written, for the most part, and well imagined, if a bit over the top especially in the parent department. Of course, you know where it’s going (be yourself, be true to your values, don’t change for the wrong reasons, etc. etc. etc. - true teen formula) but it’s engaging and Opal is very likeable. It’s just too bad Kaavya didn’t have the judgment (or Alloy didn’t—whatever. It’s too late to point more fingers) to keep it clean and not plagiarize
