Every year.

Every year, I look at the Thanksgiving desserts and I go “Man, that looks good. I can’t remember why I wouldn’t like that, that looks delicious.”

Every year I try it and remember that, no, I actually don’t like the taste of it.

This year: no exception.

I remember eating a slice before I went trick-or-treating when I was about 3. I was watching Bewitched at the time. My costume- a witch. I felt very Halloween-y that day! And part of the reason why I like pumpkin pie, good memories of fall. :)

Not enough nutmeg etc and it’s just “O.K.” Get the proportions right and it’s melt-in-your-mouth decadence.
