This was a pretty decent book. It started off a little dull, but gradually got better and better the further into it you got. There weren’t too many twists, and the ending was fairly predictable, but it was still an interesting story.

I’ve heard bad things about this book, but I completely enjoyed it. It was a beautifully written yet tragically depressing story. I’ll be renting the movie soon. I’ll be interested to see the differences. Since most of the book takes place in Astrid’s mind, I can’t imagine how this has translated into a movie.

Perhaps more of a proper review later.

A beautifully written book, but very disturbing.

Very real novel. Fantastic.

I am looking to start reading this again because I never finished it the first time around (bad habit). Lost interest somewhere along the way, but I think I may give it another try.

This book was very good. It really touched a nerve because the mother reminded me of my mother in a lot of ways.
