I like this book; I do; it’s about a group of sisters who sit around commiserating about how life treated them; then one of the ladies who is a beauty store owner told the ladies to pool their resources and have a party where one did psychic readings, another sold “love potions”, and make some money; well they did, made some money and that’s when things went crazy; the beauty store owner got into problems with the IRS, the others lost their jobs that they weren’t happy with, and together these group of ladies decided to rely on themselves and do what they did with the party and make it happen; along the way, they meet men who fall in love with them, some behind the potion, and things get to popping; What I like about this book is that in spite of challenging circumstances, these ladies empowered themselves to do something for the good; not that I don’t like a good love story, but I LOVE it when a sister empowers herself as well as find love;
