This book has been referred to me by no less than four people in the last couple months… so I thought I’d give it a try. First impressions: looks like a pretty thorough study, but I can’t help but wonder if it’s really scientific. The author goes out of his way to explain the method, but never addresses the possibility that the difference between good and great companies is insignificant. That there is no real difference. That greatness is a result of chance.
