yesterday i discovered i had no lunch plans, no book with me and no knitting or other hobby to occupy me for an hour so i raced down the street to the book shop looking for something to read. i had just sent my copy of “faking it” to my sister-in-law so i decided to buy another copy to read. its light, funny and a bit adventurous. for a self-proclaimed romance writer, jennifer crusie is the best i’ve ever read. sure, its fantasy fluff but, in the end, crusie creates characters that i care about. i really want everything to work out. if you’ve never tried a romance novel or read any jennifer crusie, i recommend this book, “welcome to temptation” or “fast women”. all excellent. perfect for vacation, plane flights or a lunchtime getaway!
