WORTH CONSUMING!

This was an interactive page turner—I laughed, I cried, felt nervous, shocked, relieved, and sentimental throughout the story of Tavis Smiley growing up in America. I literally could not put this book down! I will return it to the library on Tuesday, but I must purchase a copy for my home collection.

Tavis Smiley has definitely mastered the law of attraction and knows the power of inspired action, agape love, and tenacity. His grandmother taught him that every experience carries a lesson and a blessing, whether the experience is positive or negative. All readers desiring a more productive life will benefit from this noble exemplar.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Very good book; very good; I had some reservations on some things; it seems as though each experience he went through, the beatings, being fired by BET, he made it out to be like a humiliation; which it was, but don’t dwell on it; shucks, for each dead end he hit, he ended up into something better and that is what I learned from this book; I admire Tavis and the things he does. he went to Cuba as part of a team and interviewed Castro; he wanted a book he brought about Cuba published in the US along autographed from him, but Castro wanted the book too and asked for it, he said no; he kept asking and indicated that if Castro had sent him anything, the US would have tapped his phones for the rest of his natural life and he didn’t want that. Castro relented, called him stubborn and signed the book; that’s sticking to your guns.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I have always admired one who have the courage to tell their life stories; Tavis is no exception; I ran into this book at Walmart and was tempted to buy it; but knowing that I had a copy on the way, I didn’t. Great reading for anyone.
