Min and Bill was an unexpected surprise for me. Marie Dressler’s Oscar-winning role still shines today. Despite the fact that it sometimes feels stage-y, there is a real quality to her performance as she easily works between comedy and heartbreak. The truly knock-down drag-out fight between Min and Bill is still hilarious and makes it worth while to sit up late and catch this film on TCM.
