A question I have about this — 16 weeks ago

Even though Mike isn’t totally sympathetic, how come no one mentions:

1. Mike & Kathleen left the pool area at different times. When Kathleen fell there would have been significant lead-time for some of the blood on the stairs to dry. Why then did the apparent wetness/dryness of the visually-observed blood become an issue?

2. When someone strikes – bounces off – multiple stairs with their head under only the force of their own movement, weight, and gravity – once a wounds are already gaping and hair becoming saturated, can’t they imagine blood being projected from / cast off the opposite side of the head in an upward trajectory?

I think Mike’s got an interesting relationship with the truth and may be a narcissist. I don’t know if he killed anyone but if he did, I think he must have compartmentalized it and will never admit it.

It’s an interesting look at the state of the guilty-unless-proven-innocent judicial system at present, and a behind-the-scenes look at the dramatic production required to put on a trial. The family scenes with their gallows humor remind me of the home movies in Capturing the Friedmans.

The defense really handled everything involving the “blow poker” poorly.
