WORTH CONSUMING!
A black and white film about a red dress. Also about brute violence and physical abjection . . . slavery, whippings, dancing and illness. Also about New Orleans public health, physical mobility within the city, the city’s responsibility to its citizens, the city’s relationship to nation, economics, isolation of communities of New Orleans and within New Orleans . . . Think about teaching it . . .
