Wow, 1:49AM and I finally finished this.
It did get better, even though I knew for the most part what was going to happen. A few minor surprises but other than that it was alright. I guess that’s the problem with seeing the movie before you read the book. You just feel like getting the book over with since it takes so much more time to read a book than watch a movie, and you already know what happens (even though it’s slightly different).
The beginning I thought was good, but I guess it just sort of slowed down for me a bit in the middle. That’s why I just left it for a few months. But the ending got better, more interesting, even though I just skimmed it basically. I got the idea, I read it, and I’m happy I’m done with it.
