WORTH CONSUMING!
It garnered 13 Academy Award nominations and 8 Oscars in 1953, and it’s an an opportunity to see an ensemble cast like no other: Burt Lancaster, Montgomery Clift, Frank Sinatra, Ernest Borgnine, Jack Warden, George Reeves, Deborah Kerr and Donna Reed. Wow. The beach romance scene is classic. The DVD includes interviews with director Fred Zinnemann (who passed away in 1997 at age 90), giving additional insight into the casting and production.
