I originally only put this in my Netflix queue because Toni Collette stars in it. She’s probably my favorite actress and one of the most incredible out there. But it turns out I’m glad I watched it for so many other reasons.
It genuinely moved me.
The rest of the cast was fantastic, the script was very well-written, and the directing was unique. It had so many little things that made it so much more clever than I’d thought it was going to be. I definitely recommend it.
It’s really funny and awkward but is still realistic and relevant enough to remind you of how hard it can be to choose between your life now and the life you could have if you were able to blindly and freely follow the path to what you’ve always felt was missing and what you’re meant to do.
