On the way back from the Pocono Mountains of PA for our honeymoon (12 years ago) my husband and I visited a bed and breakfast where they served THEBESTGOURMETFRENCHTOAST I have EVER had in my life. I have never really been much of a fan of French toast, but this was addictive!!! Today, I would pay a HEFTY price for that recipe.!!!!!

If you want to make to boost the aesthetics, just sprinkle a dash of powdered sugar on it prior to adding the syrup and throw a few berries of your choice on the plate for garnish.

I made some french toast the other night as a mignight snack with my wife. It was excelent. I made it from some left over sourdough bread I’d made.
