WORTH CONSUMING!
I read this set of books a while ago (before the movie came about). Short and sweet they are, and you see yet another side of author Stephen King. They’re spiritual, for it involves what happens to an ‘angel’ of God and those people he encounters. They’re also of a violent nature, for gruesome bloody scenes and language described. It’s a quick devour. The movie that follows provides a great graphical representation of the books, though I recommend the book first, of course. :)
