This book is roughly 225 pages long depending on what printing you have. It took me 92 pages to give a crap about Any of the characters at all. At 94 pages all of a sudden the book starts to kick ass out of nowhere. The next hundred pages are extremely worth-while sci-fi, with some of the sweetest space-warfare I’ve ever read added to a group of really well-done (and humorous) characters. The end falls pretty flat, regardless of whatever message that was attempted to be put forth. I don’t know. I was pretty unimpressed, though I Did like that middle bit.
