WORTH CONSUMING!

Find the yellow secret about the person who accidentally poisoned their dog and apologised. I can only imagine the pain and guilt they must feel and it makes me very tearful all the time.

I love this book, just looking through it and realising that you know, whatever ‘issues’ I have are nothing compared to some.

In five words: I thought I had issues.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This book is hillarious, sad, crazy weird and many other things. It is also very entertaining, and it’s interesting to see what peoples’ secrets are. I think I’m addicted. I definitely look forward to the new batch on Sundays on the website.

My best friend gave me the book for Christmas. Wanna know the funniest thing? I got her the same thing. Minds that think alike.
This book gives us all hope that what we think makes us weird is actually pretty common for a lot of people. This project gives the opportunity to people to express themselves by taking weight of their shoulders and letting them express their creativity.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I recently picked up this book and while I was perusing it, a postcard fell out of the book into my lap. After reading it, I immediately felt connected to that person. To actually physically hold a secret in your hand is pretty amazing.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Frank Warren, a number of years ago, printed off a few thousand blank-fronted postcards, and asked people to send him their secrets on the other side. The secret could be anything, but it had to be something you’d never told anyone. He’s still collecting postcards every week, and has a now-touring exhibition of many of them, and, of course this book.

It’s filled with so many secrets and shames big and small, and interspersed with quotes from people who sent in secrets – and people who made postcards, then didn’t send them after all. Nearly everyone felt better for having written it down.

It made me cry a couple times, made me laugh a couple times, made me feel human and normal and less neurotic a whole lot of the time.

Get your hands on this book if you can – or just follow
along online. It’s got the capacity to change your life…

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I like the site and check in on it regularly. I got the book thinking it contain similar things. It did, but too similar, I would say 90% of the cards in the book have been featured previously on the website. I remembered most of them and that, combined with Frank’s boring and trite quotes sprinkled throughout combined for dissapointing read. My advice, skip the book and just check out the blog.
