In this book Tom Kelley continues where he left off in “The Art of Innovation” by describing the ten personae he considers essential to a culture of innovation: the anthropologist, the experimenter, the cross-pollinator, the hurdler, the collaborator, the director, the experience architect, the set designer, the caregiver and the storyteller.
Reading this book after “The Art of Innovation” I found a lot of overlap between the two books in terms of advice. This book seemed less useful although it may have been because I read it second. Still, it was chock-full of new and interesting anecdotes and proved to be a fairly enjoyable and enlightening read.
